In partnership with Missouri State Emergency Management Agency and Dept. of Public Safety, the Central United States Earthquake Consortium has released a new video about the Great Central U.S. ShakeOut. The ShakeOut is an eleven state earthquake drill scheduled for April 28, 2011 (April 19 in Indiana) that will involve nearly two million people.
The video features a fourth grade class from Thorpe Gordon Elementary in Jefferson City, Missouri. THe video is being used by states and communities to generate interest in the ShakeOut and New Madrid Bicentennial.
